About Carol
"Sharing the mechanics of music drives me to teach because I enjoy the process of improvement. You are reading this because you want a direct path to better guitar playing. Since graduating with a Bachelor of Music in Music Performance from the Australian National Academy of Music, I have spent 12 years teaching students how to master electric and acoustic technique. My background ensures that you gain a proper understanding of tuning, maintenance, and fingerpicking from day 1.
Improvisation and soloing become natural once you understand the underlying structure of the fretboard. I incorporate ear training and reading sheet music to round out your capabilities as a musician. You can expect a patient approach that respects the time you invest in practice. I promise to keep our sessions organized and focused on your growth."

Guitar mastery requires consistent effort and a structured framework. We will move through your technical requirements while ensuring you actually enjoy the sound you produce.
