About Nicholas
Playing acoustic sets in dive bars across the South taught me more than any classroom ever could. I spent 6 years gigging hard before open mic regulars started begging me to show them my tricks. It turns out that 13 years of touring and teaching makes for a pretty decent coach for teens, working professionals, and adults. I spent my early days at Musicians Institute, but the real stuff happens on stage.

Does your current practice routine feel like a chore? Most folks get stuck because they separate the rhythm from the melody, but I teach them as one single movement. We focus on rhythm guitar and songwriting from the jump, even if you are just learning your first barre chords.
Since I use a practice module with every lesson to keep momentum, you will never walk away wondering what to do next. My style is pretty loose, but we keep a steady structure underneath to ensure those scales and modes actually stick. You will spend time on lead guitar and improvisation without getting bogged down by boring theory.
I keep things light, so expect a few jokes while we get your fingers moving. You will get the hang of this music thing faster than you think.
