About Madison
Sometimes I admit that the best way to learn is to embrace the groove before worrying about the technical perfection. We spend our time exploring improvisation techniques and music theory in a way that feels organic rather than academic. Whether you are a total beginner or an advanced player, I ensure the music remains at the center of our work. My degree of experience allows me to pivot between coaching kids on fingerpicking and refining the technique of self-taught players.
We often bridge these styles with bolero rhythms or complex flamenco patterns to keep the energy high. Every session serves as a gateway into the rich musical traditions that defined my own development. My approach ensures that the path forward feels natural and surprisingly fun.

Connecting with your musical goals remains my primary focus as I guide you through the intricacies of the fretboard. Over 13 years of performing Latin music has given me a deep perspective on electric technique, fingerpicking, and complex soloing.
My background as a self-taught guitarist informs how I structure lessons for hobbyists, kids, and those pursuing grade exams. I find that integrating theory with blues progressions creates a solid foundation for any songwriter or advanced player. These traditions of bolero, flamenco, and chacarera form the backbone of my pedagogical approach to music. You will find my teaching style creates a bridge between raw creativity and structured mastery.
