"Admitting that I struggle to play songs exactly like the original recording is where we start. I translate your favourite tracks into simplified arrangements to get you playing quickly. My background from the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland ensures we cover proper fingerpicking and rhythm guitar fundamentals. We work on blues progressions while keeping a steady pace that avoids burnout.
Feedback is provided immediately to correct your posture or hand positioning. You will find that reading tabs becomes second nature after a few weeks of consistent practice.
Lead guitar patterns are broken down into logical steps that align with your musical goals. Each session builds on the previous one to ensure you retain the core concepts. Music should be fun and approachable."

"Teaching 226 students has shaped how I explain the fretboard to hobbyists. It is interesting how common the same hurdles are for every learner.
My 9 years of experience allow me to identify exactly where a player gets stuck. Holding a Bachelor of Music from the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland, I approach electric technique with a formal eye for detail.
I simplify the complex to keep progress steady. You will find that I move through music theory without making it feel like a chore. Songwriting and ear training are woven into our weekly rhythm. I keep my focus on your growth as a musician.
