About Milo
I hold a Bachelor’s in Music Performance and Guitar Studies and have 9 years of experience teaching guitar to students of all levels. My teaching philosophy combines technical mastery, musical interpretation, improvisation, repertoire development, and performance coaching. I specialize in helping students grow as confident, expressive musicians while fostering a genuine love for guitar. I focus on individualized instruction, patience, and encouragement. Lessons are tailored to each student’s interests and skill level, using structured exercises, creative exploration, and performance preparation. Constructive feedback and consistent guidance help learners progress steadily, strengthen technical abilities, and develop artistic expression. Beyond teaching, I engage with contemporary guitar music, performance techniques, and composition to bring real-world insight into lessons. Watching students gain confidence, master challenging pieces, and express themselves musically is highly rewarding. I am dedicated to nurturing students’ skills, creativity, and passion for the guitar, helping them achieve both technical proficiency and artistic growth.

My guitar lessons are structured to develop technical skill, musicality, and expressive performance. I focus on finger technique, strumming patterns, chord progressions, scales, improvisation, repertoire, and stage presence. Lessons incorporate exercises, repertoire practice, creative improvisation, and performance guidance. I tailor each session to the student’s skill level, goals, and musical interests, creating a supportive and inspiring learning environment that encourages exploration, curiosity, and steady progress.
Beginners work on basic chords, strumming, hand positioning, finger exercises, and simple songs. Intermediate learners refine scales, chord transitions, rhythm, improvisation, and musical interpretation. Advanced learners focus on complex repertoire, technical mastery, soloing, composition, and performance skills. Each lesson includes guidance, structured practice, and feedback to ensure both skill development and artistic growth. Students are encouraged to express emotion, develop their own style, and cultivate confidence in performance.
Learning guitar strengthens technical proficiency, musical understanding, and creative expression. My goal is to help students develop both skill and artistry, providing them with the tools to perform confidently, interpret music thoughtfully, and enjoy a lifelong connection to the guitar. Lessons are designed to nurture talent, inspire creativity, and foster a deep appreciation for music.
