About Odelia

My passion for guitar developed through years of playing and exploring different musical styles. This interest eventually led me to study music formally and complete a Bachelor’s Degree in Guitar Performance. Over the past 6 years, I have taught students who wanted to learn guitar for personal enjoyment or musical growth.

I believe music education should be both structured and inspiring. My teaching style focuses on clear explanation, patient guidance, and encouragement. Each student learns differently, so I adapt lessons depending on their goals and experience level. Some learners prefer focusing on songs, while others want to build deeper technical skill.

Outside teaching, I continue practicing guitar and studying new music techniques. These activities help me stay connected to the instrument and bring fresh ideas into my lessons. Helping students discover their musical ability and enjoy playing guitar is what makes teaching so rewarding.

About the lesson

My guitar lessons focus on helping students build solid technical skills while enjoying the process of making music. Beginners begin by learning how to hold the guitar comfortably and position their fingers correctly. Early exercises include simple chords, rhythm patterns, and short melodies that help students develop coordination between both hands. I guide learners slowly so they understand each movement clearly before moving to more advanced skills.

As students improve, lessons introduce new chord shapes, scale patterns, and smoother transitions between notes. Intermediate learners begin exploring rhythm variations and more detailed musical expression. I encourage students to listen carefully to their timing and tone so they develop better control while playing.

Music should feel creative and enjoyable. I support students as they experiment with different styles and sounds on the guitar. Regular practice guidance helps learners improve steadily between lessons. My goal is to help students feel confident playing music while building strong technical foundations.
