About Genevieve
A steady rhythm underpins the development of technical facility on the guitar. We start by listening to the way your fingers press into the fretboard to create clean resonance.
My 8 years of experience allow me to demonstrate how complex improvisation and soloing emerge from simple, foundational power chords. I integrate my academic background in music education to ensure you understand the theory behind every blues progression or grade exam piece.
Tuning and maintenance are treated as essential parts of your daily practice routine. Playing the guitar should feel like an extension of your own voice. You will find that these structured habits lead to lasting progress. Enjoying the process is the primary metric of our success.

I have 8 years of experience guiding students from Grade 3 kids to busy adults. It is vital. I help you master ear training, music theory, and lead guitar while maintaining your gear. You are welcome to join me for a session if you want to explore the instrument further.
