About Wells
I have been teaching guitar for ten years, combining my experience as a performer, composer, and educator to guide students towards both technical skill and artistic growth. Helping learners discover their unique musical voice continues to inspire me daily. My teaching approach is patient, adaptive, and encouraging. I integrate technical exercises, improvisation, and performance practice, tailoring lessons to individual goals, interests, and strengths. I cultivate a motivating and supportive environment where students feel empowered to grow. Outside teaching, I perform, compose, and collaborate with other musicians to stay inspired and bring fresh ideas to lessons. Guitar instruction is more than a career — it is a passion that allows me to share music, creativity, and confidence with every student.

Guitar is an instrument that combines technical skill with artistic expression. My lessons focus on developing finger technique, chord knowledge, and musical creativity while fostering confidence in performance. I create a supportive environment where students are encouraged to explore styles, practise improvisation, and connect with the music. Each lesson balances structured exercises with creative expression to ensure both skill development and enjoyment. Beginners focus on basic chords, strumming patterns, and rhythm to establish a solid foundation. Intermediate students refine scales, fingerstyle techniques, and improvisational skills. Advanced learners develop performance, composition, and expressive interpretation, cultivating both technical mastery and personal artistry. Lessons are fully tailored to individual goals and abilities. By the end, students gain technical proficiency, creative confidence, and expressive capability. They develop the ability to perform, improvise, and communicate musically with clarity and emotion. Lessons aim to cultivate independent, motivated, and expressive guitarists who enjoy and embrace their musical journey.
