About Joel
I am a musician who has been teaching guitar since 2012, and have been playing guitar since 2006. I have worked with people of all ages, and I thoroughly enjoy helping people to meet their musical goals. I have a passion for many genres of music, and my aim is to get my students playing the music that they enjoy.
I have experience in playing in bands spanning many genres, and I am also an experienced live and studio session musician.

My teaching method involves having discussion with students about their goals and what they wish to achieve. Then formulating lesson plans tailored to accommodate the needs of each student, as no two students needs are the same. Doing this ensures lessons are interesting and engaging. I utilise the neural pathway method of learning with students, and once learned, can give students the skills they need to succeed in all areas of learning.
