"A typical guitar session involves 60 minutes of focused practice on technical mastery and rhythmic clarity. The most striking fact about my 13 years of teaching is that students progress faster when they connect physical technique to the cultural origin of a song.
We balance the rigid demands of grade exam prep with the creative freedom of songwriting and reading tabs. I use the academic foundation from my university degrees to ensure you build a sustainable foundation. Whether you are a teen or a hobbyist, we focus on making complex chord transitions feel natural. "Strings vibrate against my fingertips, echoing the bolero and flamenco melodies that shaped my childhood in Colombia. I have spent 13 years exploring the technical side of the instrument after earning a Bachelor of Music in Popular Music from the Queensland Conservatorium and a Licenciatura in Argentina. My teaching reflects the traditions of chacarera, offering students a comprehensive look at both the theory and the soul of the guitar.
I work with absolute beginners who are picking up the instrument for the first time as well as performance-focused teens. Hobbyists often find that these integrated cultural packages help them understand rhythm guitar in a way that standard methods fail to capture. I have guided countless students through scales, modes, and power chords while ensuring their tuning and maintenance skills remain sharp.
