About Camila
Silence is rarely the best way to start a session when we could be adjusting your gear for the perfect tone. Before we touch the guitar, I perform a thorough diagnostic skills check to map exactly where you stand.
This allows us to build a lesson plan that tackles chord transitions, music theory, and ear training with precision. You might find that we spend time isolating specific mechanical movements to ensure your posture remains relaxed and efficient.
We will explore how these physical habits influence the clarity of your sound across various genres. My teaching balances the technical rigor of electric technique with the rhythmic freedom found in my Latin music background. It is a methodical approach that keeps your progress steady and your playing rewarding. Having worked with students of all ages for 13 years, I know how to pace these sessions for maximum retention.
We work together until you feel confident in your own musical voice. I look forward to hearing your first notes resonate in our studio.

Bogotá is the place where my musical roots were first planted deep in the soil of tradition. These 13 years of playing have taken me from local stages to an Australian home where I now share my craft. My formal training involves a Diploma of Music from JMC Academy which informs how I approach the instrument.
Teaching hobbyists, adults, and teens allows me to share the nuance of guitar playing I have cultivated over decades. Power chords, lead guitar, and electric technique form the core of my technical focus. I genuinely enjoy the process of watching a student connect with the fretboard for the first time.
