About Kara
I am a guitar tutor with 11+ years of experience and a Bachelor of Arts in Music focusing on guitar. I tailor lessons for each student, covering fingerstyle, blues improvisation, soloing, and chord theory. My students range from beginners to advanced learners aiming for professional-level skills. I teach rock, jazz, funk, and folk, helping students develop versatility and creativity. Lessons focus on technical skill, expression, and improvisation. I provide a supportive, motivating environment where students gain confidence. Structured exercises are paired with fun, creative projects. I encourage composing, exploring styles, and developing personal sound. Students build strong foundations while enjoying the learning journey. Music theory is simplified to enhance playing naturally.
