About Summer
"Sometimes I find that simplifying complex theory makes the biggest difference for a student. My background includes a MMus Voice from Guildhall and 13 years of experience as a performing artist.
I have taught 194 students ranging from beginners to advanced players. My expertise covers reading tabs, acoustic technique, tuning and maintenance, songwriting, and music theory. I also teach scales, modes, lead guitar, and grade exam prep. I look forward to supporting your progress towards your musical goals."

"Clear melodies emerge from the fretboard as you master the nuanced art of clean finger placement on the strings. My process involves providing custom backing tracks so students can practise soloing at home with confidence. We spend time building a solid foundation in scales and modes while ensuring you understand the mechanics of your instrument. Because I focus on your specific needs, we integrate songwriting and theory into the flow of every single meeting.
You will notice how quickly your technical skills improve when you have the right tools at your disposal. Learning to navigate lead guitar patterns becomes an intuitive process once you understand the underlying structure of the music. Since I provide the custom backing tracks for all my students, you will always have a professional sound to play along with during your practice hours.
