About Kevin
Guitar practice is often quiet and solitary, but my studio is loud and rhythmic. We focus on ear training and improvisation to ensure you understand the internal logic of the music rather than just memorizing shapes. My 13 years of experience ensure that even self-taught players find a clear path to structure. I offer a free trial session to assess your starting level and technical needs.
We apply my degree to help you transition through chords smoothly while keeping the feel authentic. Playing guitar should be a physical joy that connects you to the music.

Holding a Bachelor of Music in Contemporary Music from AIM, I specialize in the guitar. My teaching career spans 13 years and I have guided over 300 students through the technical demands of the fretboard.
I grew up in Lima and have spent 13 years playing Latin guitar in Australia, which informs how I approach rhythm and improvisation. My lessons are designed for intermediate players and kids who want to move past basic tabs. I help you handle barre chords, power chords, and complex scales with ease. You will find my style very grounded and groove-focused as we work to build your confidence.
