About Yolanda

I provide a monthly recorded review of progress so you can see your development over time without relying on memory alone. This helps us refine your chord transitions or songwriting technique with concrete data points rather than vague guesses. I bring 11 years of experience to these sessions to ensure you are not just practicing but practicing correctly.
Whether you are a returning learner or an absolute beginner, we keep the pacing steady so that you do not feel left behind. We often spend time on maintenance or exam prep to make sure your gear and your technique are both in top shape. I am here to act as a guide for your development as a musician. I keep my own guitar out on a stand at all times to ensure I never miss an opportunity to play. My work as a musician involves balancing technical precision with the creative energy required to write original songs.
After 11 years of playing and teaching, I have learned how to break down complex tasks like barre chords and electric technique into manageable steps. I have helped 344 students find their own voice through the instrument while maintaining a focus on proper tuning and maintenance. My own journey has taught me that the best growth happens when we are kind to ourselves during the process of learning. I enjoy teaching power chords and chord transitions to those who have felt overwhelmed by online tutorials in the past.
It is satisfying to watch a student master a difficult sequence that they previously thought was impossible. I live for the moment a song finally clicks after weeks of consistent practice. My own path is defined by a love for clear and direct musical communication.
