About Marilyn
"Music has been my life since childhood and I have spent 13 years refining my teaching style. My methodology centers on building electric technique, music theory, strumming patterns, acoustic technique, blues progressions, improvisation and soloing. I hold a Bachelor of Music in Guitar Performance from the Sydney Conservatorium of Music.
Developing strong technique is essential to ensure students perform confidently within a term. I have guided many pupils to reach their goals by balancing discipline with the joy of playing. These days I find great satisfaction in my own practice."

"Focusing on the mechanics of the instrument is actually the fastest path to having fun. My classes incorporate electric technique, music theory, strumming patterns, acoustic technique, blues progressions, improvisation and soloing.
