About Andrei

I've been playing guitar for over 10 years and music has been a huge part of my life throughout that time. I play acoustic, electric and classical guitar and enjoy learning and performing music across a variety of styles and genres.

Alongside my personal playing, I've performed in multiple ensembles and have had the opportunity to perform at Melbourne Town Hall and in front of many audiences over the years.

As a tutor, I aim to create a relaxed and encouraging environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and progressing at their own pace. I remember what it was like learning guitar for the first time, so I focus on making lessons enjoyable, practical and rewarding.

Whether your goal is to learn your favorite songs, prepare for performances, improve technique or simply enjoy playing music, I'd be happy to help you on that journey.

About the lesson

Hi, I'm Andrei, an experienced guitarist from Melbourne with over 10 years of playing experience across acoustic, electric and classical guitar.

Over the years I've performed as part of multiple ensembles and have had the opportunity to perform numerous times in front of large audiences, including performances at Melbourne Town Hall.

I enjoy a wide range of musical styles and can help students explore the genres that interest them most, whether that's rock, pop, blues, classical, fingerstyle or contemporary music.

My lessons are tailored to each student and focus on making learning enjoyable while building strong fundamentals and good technique. Whether you're picking up a guitar for the first time or looking to improve your existing skills, lessons can cover chords, strumming, scales, music reading, technique, songs, improvisation and performance skills.

Lessons are suitable for beginners and intermediate players of all ages, and my goal is to help students build confidence and enjoy the process of learning music.
