About Abigail
Stepping into your first session involves a free trial to assess your starting level immediately. We sit down with your guitar to see where you sit currently so we can build a plan. You might be a self-taught player needing formal guidance or a kid picking up the instrument for the first time.
I incorporate rhythm guitar exercises that feel like a conversation rather than a chore. My method leans into my experience as a teacher who loves helping people play music they actually enjoy. We will move through strumming patterns that keep your hands busy and your ears happy.
Songwriting becomes a natural part of our time as we explore the fretboard together. The process is quite relaxed and focuses on the technical skills you need to sound better. You will find the pressure is low while the progress remains high. Hopefully this sounds like the way you want to spend your afternoon.

Greeting students at the door feels like welcoming family into a musical home. 13 years of teaching means I have seen it all from nervous beginners to players wanting structure. My BA in Music from the University of Melbourne shapes how I explain complex concepts clearly.
I specialize in grade exam prep and finding the right rhythm for your goals. Whether you want electric technique or songwriting tips I am here to guide your hands. It is truly a joy to see a student finally nail a solo after weeks of practice.
