About Sienna
I am a passionate Guitar tutor with 15 years of teaching experience, dedicated to helping High School and College students discover the joy and confidence that music can bring. For me, teaching Guitar is not only about learning chords, scales, or songs. It is about helping students express themselves, build discipline, and develop a lifelong connection with music.
During my teaching journey, I have had the opportunity to teach around 300–350 students with different learning styles, interests, and skill levels. This experience has helped me understand that every student learns differently. I focus on creating lessons that are simple, practical, engaging, and easy to follow. I encourage students to learn at a comfortable pace while also challenging them to improve their skills.
One of the most meaningful milestones in my career has been reaching and teaching hundreds of students within a short period. Seeing students move from struggling with basic techniques to confidently playing their favorite songs has been one of my greatest achievements. Their progress motivates me to continue improving as a teacher.
My teaching philosophy is based on patience, encouragement, and consistent practice. I believe mistakes are a natural part of learning, so I create a supportive environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and trying new techniques. I also connect lessons with students' musical interests to keep them motivated.
Whether a student is learning Guitar for the first time or wants to strengthen existing skills, I aim to make every lesson meaningful and enjoyable. My goal is to help students become confident musicians while developing focus, creativity, and self-discipline that can benefit them beyond music.

I believe learning Guitar should be simple, practical, enjoyable, and suitable for each student’s level. My teaching methodology is based on clear Communication, Accountability, and Integrity. I focus on building strong musical skills while also helping students become confident and independent learners.
Communication: I maintain open and friendly communication with my students. I first understand their musical goals, current skill level, interests, and learning difficulties. I explain guitar concepts in simple language and encourage students to ask questions freely. Whether a student wants to learn basic chords, strumming, fingerstyle, songs, music theory, or advanced techniques, I adjust my explanations according to their needs.
Accountability: I help students stay regular and focused on their learning goals. I set realistic practice targets and encourage students to follow a simple practice routine. During lessons, I review their progress, identify areas that need improvement, and provide clear guidance for the next step. I believe regular practice and small improvements are the keys to becoming a better guitarist.
Integrity: I create a respectful and honest learning environment. I give genuine feedback about a student’s progress and clearly explain both strengths and areas for improvement. I never compare students with others because every learner has a different pace. My goal is to build trust and help students feel comfortable throughout their learning journey.
My lessons can include chord practice, scales, rhythm, strumming patterns, finger exercises, fingerstyle, song learning, ear training, basic music theory, improvisation, and performance preparation. I use songs and practical examples to make lessons more interesting and useful. For beginners, I focus on building a strong foundation, while intermediate and advanced students can work on technique, timing, expression, and musical creativity.
Besides Guitar, I can also support students with related areas such as Music Theory, Rhythm Training, Ear Training, Songwriting basics, and Music Performance skills. My overall approach is patient, flexible, and student-focused. I want every student to enjoy learning Guitar, develop confidence, and make steady progress.
