About Alberto
I am a guitari player and I'm currently studying the last semester of the Jazz Degree at the University of Évora, in Portugal. I offer guitar classes (classical, acoustic and electric) at all levels, both individual and group, in Spanish, English and Portuguese.

Always depending on the student's goals, we will work on technique, harmony and repertoire. We will deal with aspects such as knowledge of the guitar neck, mastery of the scales in 12 tonalities, the modes, the voicings (Drop 2 among others), the neck positions, pentatonic scales, chromaticisms; we will shape the vocabulary for improvisation through the analysis and transcription and learning of licks (musical phrases). We will translate these concepts into a repertoire to be chosen by the student, where they will put what they have learned into practice. Music theory and ear training. The composition will also be part of the process, thus working on creativity and putting the theory learned into practice.
