About Tom
I studied music to undergrad level at a UK conservatoire. I specialised in jazz at music college, but also play a lot of pop/funk/rock. I continue to play lead guitar in various bands in and around London.
I also happen to be a lawyer, so I am great at explaining complex ideas (like music theory) to my students.

I am a professionally trained guitarist with a music degree from the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama. I teach a wide variety of playing styles and genres of music. I also teach theory - jazz and classical to grade 5 - (for students who are interested in learning it!).
