About Kripanand L

I used to hate music when I was young, until one day, at 13, I heard the Kick Buttowski intro theme. That single moment completely changed how I felt about sound. I picked up my first guitar soon after and practiced endlessly, discovering a joy I never knew existed. By the time I entered college, I had developed my own style and even won first place in a performance competition with a rendition of Amin Toofani’s “Gratitude.” The response was overwhelming, people started asking me to teach them, and that’s when I realized teaching guitar wasn’t just something I could do for fun, but something I was meant to do. Now, with over 8 years of teaching experience, I’ve had the privilege of helping students of all ages find their own connection to music. My background in Medical and Psychiatry Social Work (MSW) showed me that music is far more than skill, it’s therapy, confidence, and expression all at once. For me, every class is about more than chords or scales, it’s about helping you discover what music means to you, and how it can become part of your personal growth.

In our first class, we’ll start with a friendly assessment and goal-setting session to design a lesson plan tailored just for you. My approach is fully collaborative, we’ll create a clear roadmap with milestones so you can see and feel your progress at every stage.

With 8 years of teaching experience and a background in Medical and Psychiatry Social Work, I bring a rare combination of musical expertise and psychological understanding to every session. This helps me identify each student’s unique strengths, learning patterns, and motivation, so every lesson feels personalized and effective.

Whether you want to play your favorite songs, improve technique, or build confidence, I’ll help you achieve it through a supportive, structured, and motivating environment. You won’t just learn guitar, you’ll learn how to express yourself through it.
