"I am a professional guitar tutor with 7 years of experience and a Doctor of Musical Arts in Guitar Performance. Over the years, I have helped dedicated players prepare for high-stakes auditions for professional touring bands, commercial recording sessions, and advanced composition programs. My passion lies in unlocking your true creative potential and preparing you to thrive in demanding musical environments.
I know firsthand how stressful a major audition or studio session can be when your career is on the line. I once coached a local guitarist who had a last-minute call to audition for a national touring artist. We spent our sessions focusing on fast song learning techniques and building the stage confidence they needed to land the gig.
In our lessons, we will work on everything from tone production and reading complex charts to managing stage nerves under pressure. I welcome intermediate and advanced guitarists who are ready to take their skills to a professional standard. Together, we will build a solid plan to help you reach your highest artistic and career goals on the guitar."

"My teaching methodology emphasizes both creative expression and technical mastery for lead playing on the guitar. We focus on essential skills like lead guitar soloing, developing deep improvisation skills, and refining your phrasing techniques. You will also learn the mechanics behind expressive blues or rock bends and smooth, vocal vibrato.
This style of learning is perfect for young rock players who want to stand out with fast, energetic solos. It is also ideal for curious musicians looking to explore jazz concepts and complex chord changes across the fretboard. I remember helping a young student who could play fast but felt like their solos sounded like simple scales.
We worked on targeting specific chord tones and slowing down their phrasing to make their melodies tell a real story. That shift completely transformed their lead playing and gave them a unique, expressive voice on the instrument. Through these steps, we will make sure you are shredding with confidence and command of your instrument."
