About Blaise
Hi, I’m a guitar teacher with over 4 years of experience and an Associate Degree in Guitar Performance. I’ve had the joy of working in community programs, playing local gigs, and supporting school enrichment clubs. Nothing makes me happier than guiding a student through their first chord, first solo, and first performance. Every milestone feels like a shared celebration. In my lessons, curiosity leads the way. I love helping students discover the music they enjoy and building skills that fit their personal goals. Whether it’s learning a favorite song or preparing for a school talent show, each step is filled with encouragement. We explore melody, rhythm, and technique with patience and steady progress. Connection is key, and I create a comfortable space where students feel supported. Even when challenges arise, we tackle them together with confidence and creativity. In my guitar lessons, I center the learning around each student’s personal goals and musical interests. We begin by setting clear, exciting targets that inspire consistent practice. I encourage students to explore their favorite songs, genres, and artists as we build their skills together. Through jam session techniques, they learn to listen actively and respond musically. Melodic phrasing and scale-matching exercises help students express their emotions and develop their own sound. We dive into rhythmic groove development, making sure every chord and note feels natural and strong. I guide students in experimenting with different styles, pushing creative boundaries while keeping the learning fun and rewarding. For those who crave freedom in their playing, I offer the tools to improvise confidently and compose their own music. My approach builds both technical skill and deep emotional connection to the instrument. Each lesson balances structure and flexibility, allowing students to grow at their own pace. Together, we unlock creative breakthroughs and turn musical dreams into reality.
