About Aurora
I am a guitar tutor with 15 years of teaching experience and an active performing career across jazz clubs, rock venues, and music festivals. I hold an Associate Degree in Guitar Performance, giving me a strong academic and technical foundation. My lessons are shaped by real-world experience, focusing on improvisation, stage presence, and developing a unique musical identity.
Students benefit from a blend of structured technique and creative exploration, learning how to play confidently in both solo and ensemble settings. I guide aspiring performers and gigging musicians to master repertoire, navigate performance challenges, and express themselves authentically on stage. Lessons incorporate music theory, rhythm training, and genre-specific techniques to ensure well-rounded musicianship.
I emphasize practical skills, including improvisation, phrasing, and dynamics, while also nurturing confidence and performance mindset. For those aiming to perform or record, I focus on expression, timing, and stage presence while maintaining strong technical skills. Classical enthusiasts deepen their understanding of structured pieces, phrasing, and dynamics.
