About Myra
I am a guitar tutor with 11 years of experience in band coaching and ensemble leadership. I hold a Bachelor of Music Education with a focus on guitar, giving me a solid foundation in both performance and pedagogy. I specialize in guiding students through collaborative playing, arranging covers, and composing original music. My lessons emphasize teamwork, creativity, and building confidence as a musician. I work closely with students to develop their technical skills while nurturing their unique musical voice. I support students in developing speed, accuracy, and expressive phrasing, helping them excel with challenging pieces. Lessons often include exercises to improve timing, rhythm, and musical memory. I encourage students to record themselves, experiment with sound, and use technology to track progress. My goal is to make learning guitar enjoyable, rewarding, and motivating. With consistent practice and personalized guidance, students gain both technical skills and a love for music.
