About Jake
I started playing when I was 11, and ever since my passion for playing guitar has encompassed my life and given it and added purpose. The joy you get from playing and being able to express yourself through your playing is amazing, and I want to help others find that same passion. Playing guitar opened up my appreciation of music, has allowed me to connect with other musicians and make new friends. Playing alongside others is such a unique experience and opens a lot of opportunities for you.
Anyone who knows me knows of my passion for music and playing guitar, and I aim to bring that same passion to my lessons and inspire younger players to fully explore their musical side.

When I was first learning to play Guitar, I wished for my lessons to be better tailored to what I wanted to get out of the instrument. I will tailor lessons to what the student wants, whether that be learning specific techniques, songs or gaining a wider range of skills to upgrade their playing to the next level. I believe that getting someone to express what they want out of their lessons and tailoring their learning to those desires is the best way to learn and really encourages a passion for the instrument.
I've been playing for 10+ years and would like to focus on teaching younger, less experienced players to help them get the most out of learning guitar, but would also teach intermediate players.
