About JESSICA

I am a dedicated guitarist with 12 years of playing and performing experience, and I am passionate about sharing the joy of music with others. Over the years, I’ve studied a variety of styles including rock, blues, classical, and acoustic fingerstyle, giving me a well-rounded approach to teaching. I’ve performed in local rock bands, acoustic ensembles, and as a solo guitarist at community events and private functions, and I bring that practical knowledge of live playing into my lessons. My background also includes a strong foundation in music theory and composition, which I incorporate into teaching to help students truly understand how music works. As a teacher, I value patience, encouragement, and creativity. I love working with students of all ages and skill levels, and I adapt my teaching style to meet each individual’s goals—whether that’s playing favorite songs, writing original music, or preparing for performances. My ultimate goal is to help students build confidence, enjoy the learning process, and develop a lifelong connection to music.

Lessons cover fundamentals such as chords, strumming patterns, scales, improvisation, and reading tablature or sheet music. For more advanced students, we can explore specialized topics like fingerstyle, soloing, songwriting, and performance techniques.
