I am passionate about the study of history. I love learning and teaching about the people and places in history from the beginning of civilization to the present, about the history of the United States and what makes us as Americans who we are and how history all fits together. I love a great story and a great adventure. That is what history represents to me. My teaching method is to show the facts of the event or people involved and then show the student how it applies to their lives. History means nothing to someone if they cannot see why they should care about it beyond something they should know for a test. I would also aim to create interactive lessons for the purpose of showing application, and a visual reference to pique their senses and interest.
