About Robbie Lauren

I unfortunately had to deny new requests this year due to an accident, however I am pleased to say I am back in business!

My name is Robyn and I am 28 years old. Music has been in my life since birth, thanks to a very musical family and beginning trumpet lessons at 4 years old, and has provided me with unique and exciting opportunities. After completing my degree in biomedicine, I found myself drawn back to the world of music and found myself as a professional singer and teacher. As a teenager I specialised in Classical and Opera, but after University I re specialised in Musical Theatre cementing my passion for performance. I have been extremely lucky to have had the opportunity to be musical, and it is now my passion in life to pass that on to others.

About the lesson

Lessons are tailored to each individual student, as no two students learn in the same way. We ensure in our first session to lay out our goals and discuss how the student will learn best. All lessons will take place online, meaning that students with a busy schedule know that they can attend our session from any location. I also have extensive experience in SEND settings, so adjustments can be made as necessary to accommodate any specific needs a student may have. I am a firm believer that there is no age limit when it comes to music and will accept students of all ages and experience levels - to date I have taught students from the age of 3 years old to 60 years old. Ultimately, music is a fun and passionate subject and my leading goal is for my students to end our sessions with a love for what they are doing.

We’ve known Robyn for about 7yrs through our youngest son as they met whilst studying at Royal Holloway University.
We have since enjoyed many piano and singing recitals, including the most beautiful performance at our eldest son’s wedding last summer in Winchester. Robyn sang Pie Jesu and Ode to Joy, both to perfection and there was not a dry eye in the church! Robyn later performed a complete ABBA medley to an equally high standard. It was such fun!
Everyone loves Robyn as she’s bubbly, friendly and trustworthy as well as being naturally gifted in all aspects of music and singing. Robyn works so well teaching both adults and children and absolutely loves her work.
We really can’t recommend Robyn highly enough.
Good luck Robyn with your new venture.

Robyn has the most beautiful , natural singing voice , which just inspires you to join in! We met Robyn as Elsa , during covid and they were the kindest , gentle soul with my then 3 year old twins .
Robyn recognises naturally when to encourage children to join in with them or when the children just want to listen in awe of their beautiful voice.
My twins are now almost 7 and Robyn will be our first choice if and when they ever choose to enhance their singing
