I have been playing guitar for over 10 years, teaching it to friends and family and would love to spread that knowledge and help others learn a new instrument, skill or simply a hobby.

About Adrian

I am from Poland, living in the UK. I have been playing guitar since I was a kid, starting with acoustic, and then electric. I have a background in many instruments such as French horn, violin, drums and singing. Alongside that I studied music theory and performed in choirs and musicals.

About the lesson

My lessons will be super approachable to anyone even if they haven't ever picked up a guitar. I will start by running you through how to hold the instrument, learn basic chord shapes and string names and a simple song and we'd go from there.

After understanding the basics of holding the guitar, finding the 6 strings and naming them as well as playing some basic chords, we can go through a simple song and identify any questions or things to work on!

Later, we can start going through some basic music theory and scales, solidifying your understanding of the relationships between notes and begin learning how to do simple solos.

I was housemates with Adrian for around a year and we would often jam together. He would often showcase some amazing technical skills and show how to achieve them in a very clear way while also making it easy to follow along while practising easy or difficult songs.

I am happy to host lessons at my flat or online, whichever is easiest for the student. I just ask that they bring their own guitar, or if they cannot, for the beginning they may use mine, and we can do a sort of back-and-forth lesson, passing the guitar, as I understand guitars can be expensive if you aren't sure you like the instrument yet.

I have been playing guitar for over 10 years, teaching it to friends and family and would love to spread that knowledge and help others learn a new instrument, skill or simply a hobby.
