About Junnie Lou

Hello! I’m Junnie Lou Amante Valenzona, a Mathematics teacher with 5 years of teaching experience. I have a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, completed a Teacher Certificate Program, and I am a licensed professional teacher with a major in Mathematics. I am also currently pursuing my Master’s degree in Education.

I believe that every student can learn Mathematics when lessons are explained clearly, patiently, and in a way that matches their learning needs. My teaching style is student-centered, supportive, and focused on building both understanding and confidence.

In my lessons, I use simple explanations, step-by-step examples, guided practice, and real-life applications to make Mathematics easier to understand. I encourage students to ask questions, learn from mistakes, and develop their own problem-solving skills.

Whether you need help with homework, want to review for an examination, or simply want to improve your Mathematics skills, I am here to guide you. My goal is not only to help you find the correct answer, but also to help you understand how and why the solution works.

I believe that mathematics becomes easier to learn when students understand the ideas behind the formulas, rather than simply memorizing procedures. As a math teacher, I use a student-centered and step-by-step approach that allows learners to build confidence while developing their problem-solving skills.

I begin by identifying what the student already knows and what concepts they find difficult. I then explain the lesson using simple language, clear examples, visual representations, and step-by-step solutions. I encourage students to ask questions and participate actively during the lesson. I also use guided practice, error analysis, real-life examples, and short exercises to check understanding and address misconceptions.
