I have been playin piano since 4, was in music school during elementary, won awards. I am currently a high school student in senior year but I have had 5 students and currently 2. The parents are satisfied and so am I at my work.

I base my lessons to the child’s preferences and way of function. If one is unable to sit for a long time, we’d break up the lesson is pieces and do different things. Otherwise traditionally I’d have my students play their assigned pieces, correct each, and give new pieces if they pass. We’d practice memorization, basic music theory, correct postures and the such. As to how I behave is also depended on your child, if they’re more the shy, I’d give a more friendly approach. And for children who are more confident and bold we’d have a more professional lesson.
