About the lesson

My approach to tutoring dance classes is centered around fostering a supportive and inclusive environment where students feel encouraged to explore movement, build confidence, and express themselves creatively. Here's an overview:

I blend technical instruction with creative exploration, allowing students to develop both skill and artistry.
Classes typically begin with a thorough warm-up focusing on alignment, strength, flexibility, and musicality.
I incorporate a variety of teaching methods, including demonstration, verbal instruction, visual aids, and guided practice.
Choreography is introduced progressively, breaking down steps and sequences into manageable segments.
I encourage students to ask questions, provide feedback, and engage in collaborative problem-solving.

The length of a dance lesson varies depending on the age and skill level of the students. Typically, classes range from 60 to 90 minutes, with shorter durations for younger students and longer durations for more advanced dancers.

I hold a certification 3 and currently studying 4 in dance education with over 5 years of experience teaching dance classes.
Additionally, I have specific experience in dance styles such as tap, ballet, jazz, contemporary, lyrical, acro and aerial as well as hip-hop and other select styles. I also have great experience and interest in choreography for solos, combos and group routines.

My dance lessons are tailored to students of all ages and levels, from beginners to advanced dancers.
Classes are designed to accommodate a diverse range of learners, including children, teenagers, adults, and seniors.
I have experience working with students with varying abilities and backgrounds, including recreational dancers, aspiring professionals, and individuals with disabilities.
Overall, my goal as a dance tutor is to inspire and empower students to develop their passion for dance, cultivate technical proficiency, and discover their unique artistic voice. Through positive reinforcement, constructive feedback, and a nurturing learning environment, I aim to instill a lifelong love of dance and foster personal growth and development in each student.
