About Jomar
Throughout my career, I’ve worked in gold processing plants, optimizing circuits, solving operational challenges, and mentoring junior metallurgists. I specialize in crushing, milling, leaching, gravity recovery, elution, and metallurgical accounting—key areas that every aspiring metallurgist needs to master. I want to teach because I’ve seen firsthand how challenging it can be for new professionals to transition from theory to practice. Universities teach the fundamentals, but real-world plant operations require problem-solving skills, process intuition, and a deeper understanding of ore behavior. I enjoy breaking down complex metallurgical concepts into practical, easy-to-understand lessons that help students and professionals bridge this gap. My goal is to empower future metallurgists by giving them the tools, knowledge, and confidence to succeed in mineral processing.
