About Sarah
I'm a 40 year old who works as an instrumental teacher in primary schools as well as privately, does academic tutoring, and also works as a freelance lighting and sound designer!
I'm from the UK but have been living in Australia for 13 years and am an Australian citizen.
I have done a lot of study, from a music degree (specialising in orchestration, composition and music theatre) and diploma of music production, to an advanced diploma of arts in criminology and studies through to masters in psychology.
As an instrumental teacher I have taught all ages. As an academic tutor I have mainly worked with primary school children, except in music and psychology where I have worked with undergraduate uni students.

Instrumental lessons go for 30 minutes. I've taught from 4yrs old to adult. For flute, clarinet, sax and recorder I can teach all levels. For piano, guitar, ukulele and drums I can teach beginners.
Academic tutoring sessions can be longer, at least an hour, depending on the age of the student.
I can tutor primary school maths and English, basic French and German, and music and psychology to university level.
