About Greg

I have been teaching for 30 years. Have for college degrees and can teach both jazz and classical, along with theory musicianship and composition. I will drive to almost any location to do this within reason. I worked at a music store in California for 20 years doing this.

About the lesson

I had over 30 students for 20 years before the coronavirus hit. I can use any series of books or method on the market. I am a mastermind of explaining musical concepts. I know my subjects in and out. I focus in on teaching on various situations which are basically transferring information from the music to the student through physical, auditory, visual, intellectual, and emotional means. Greg Burkher has been my piano teacher for the past ten years, and I would highly reccomend him as a teacher. He has taught me how to use jazz chords with many classic piano pieces. He also has assisted me in learning classical music compositions, as well as giving me assistance in writing a few of my own pieces. Greg is a dedicated professional.
