I've been a student of Conrad's for over two years, starting at the level of an adult beginner. Conrad's patience, knowledge and teaching style is something I adapted to immediately and it has aided me to move to higher levels. He can connect with his students on the most elementary level while also challenging his advanced students to grow and perfect their art. In fact, I referred him on several occasions and will continue to do so as well as I will continue take lessons to grow in the art of piano!

Conrad is an excellent piano teacher. I’m a beginner and have been extremely happy taking lessons from Conrad over the last 2 months. He clearly knows a ton about music and is able to break down concepts and why certain things are important in a way that is easy to understand. The lessons are always productive thanks to his attention to detail and ability to give feedback. I always leave lessons with a clear plan / roadmap for what to practice. Overall I highly recommend Conrad for those who want to learn or improve their skills on the piano!

Conrad has been teaching my three children piano and guitar for the past four years. He is great at motivating and engaging at various age levels, my kids are now 19, 15 and 10. I appreciate his dedication to the basics; scales and ensuring that they are reading the music, understanding the nuances of timing, etc, and not just playing by ear. We began lessons in person in his studio, and switched to online during COVID, both formats have worked well. Conrad knows his material/tools for teaching very well and also has a knack for coordinating the complexity of music with the skill level you've attained. He also incorporates your favorite songs into lessons to keep you challenged and interested! Always a step ahead.

I'm an adult student who has been taking piano lessons from Conrad for over 4 years. He has a "tough love" approach...meaning he makes you complete the exercises that are maybe not the most fun but will ultimately make you a better player.

Conrad has a great approach with children. He started teaching piano to my son when he was 4 years old and quickly helped him develop a love for music and the instrument. He is strict in that he provides structure around the lesson and The assignments but has a gentle and funny bedside manner which lightens the mood and helps children enjoy their time playing and learning.

I prefer Conrad's structured but casual method to teaching music. Because I am not a professional musician, music makes its place in my life relative to the time I can dedicate to it. Conrad understands this and accommodates scheduling at my pace. I have advanced significantly further in my music education in the past year than would have been possible on my own.
