About Joshua
Many learners struggle to find the right cadence for a professional presentation or a high stakes interview. Sometimes I find it difficult to explain why a specific intonation sounds natural to a native speaker, but we eventually break it down into manageable segments. My instruction focuses on grammar foundations, writing skills, and pronunciation for business travelers and TOEFL or IELTS candidates. Given my background, I apply rhythmic phrasing to help you master accent reduction and everyday conversation flow.

Did you ever wonder how a music background shapes the way someone teaches a second language? After completing my Bachelor of Arts in English and BM Guitar at Humber College alongside my CELTA certification, I realized the inherent connection between musical rhythm and linguistic fluency.
My classroom is a space for newcomer families and international professionals to find their voice through the structure of music and language. These 13 years of teaching have taught me that clear communication is the core of integration.
