About Matt
I'm currently a JH and HS teacher at a private school in Oklahoma. I teach 7th grade Old Testament and two dual credit Bible courses, introduction to Christian Scriptures and Christian Theology and Ethics. I have undergraduate and graduate degrees with emphasis in Bible, Religion, and Ancient Greek. I am married with three kiddos and enjoy playing tennis and pickleball, woodworking, and reading.

I have been studying the Bible my whole life. I have experience in both academic and church contexts. I believe the overarching story of the Bible is powerful and is important to understanding its overall message. I also believe delving into the details of the historical context, ancient language, and authorial intent and perspective is crucial to understanding the meaning and purpose.
I'm willing to teach all ages with a variety of teaching styles. Looking forward to working with you!
