About Harris
I hold a PhD in mathematics from Auckland Uni. I disagree with the typical attitude that maths is boring, difficult and little more than calculations with formulas. Instead, everything is intricately linked and I take pride in helping students see these connections too.

I hold a PhD in mathematics from the University of Auckland and have over 800 hours of private tutoring and Graduate Teaching Assistant experience at the university.
My tutoring has covered everything from intermediate school to undergraduate levels.
I see learning as an exploration, and guide my students with this in mind. I explain all concepts to students in a methodical and logical manner, unfolding as a story. Resultingly, no effort is required in memorising disparate facts and formulas.
Lessons typically between 1 and 2 hours.
