About Tan
I am currently working as a full-time accountant and am looking to take on part-time tutoring opportunities as I am interested in teaching.
With the strong demand for Chinese tutors, I would like to explore this area by helping students improve their Chinese language skills. I focus on providing clear explanations and making learning more engaging and accessible for students.

I believe language learning can be both effective and enjoyable when lessons are connected to a student's interests. Rather than relying solely on memorization, I aim to make Chinese more engaging through stories, real-life examples, and cultural context.
For students who enjoy history and storytelling, I may incorporate interesting topics from Chinese history and literature, such as the Three Kingdoms period, to help them build vocabulary, comprehension skills, and a deeper appreciation of the language. My goal is to help students develop confidence in Chinese while making the learning process more meaningful and enjoyable
