About Keegan
I am someone who is passionate about learning, especially around computer science. I fully intend in studying it at university and will then follow this with a career in cyber security. I want to teach computer science to fellow students because I am passionate about sharing my love for computer science because I believe everyone deserves to understand the technology that shapes our world, and there’s nothing more rewarding than seeing that moment when a complex concept finally clicks for a student. Teaching allows me to transform my own recent struggles and breakthroughs into valuable guidance for others, helping them avoid the pitfalls I encountered while building the confidence they need to excel in this fascinating subject.

As an 18-year-old who has just completed A-levels with a predicted A grade in Computer Science, I bring a unique combination of fresh knowledge and relatable teaching approach to GCSE and A-level tutoring. Having recently navigated these exact courses myself, I understand the challenges students face and can explain complex concepts in ways that truly resonate with young learners. My particular strength lies in the theoretical foundations of computer science - from the intricate workings of operating systems to the architecture and functionality of processors - areas that many students find daunting but which I can break down into digestible, engaging explanations. What sets me apart is my ability to bridge the gap between textbook theory and real understanding, drawing on my recent exam experience to help students not just memorise facts, but genuinely grasp how computer systems work at their core. Whether you’re struggling with fetch-decode-execute cycles, memory management, or any other theoretical concept, I can provide the patient, peer-level guidance that makes all the difference in achieving your computer science goals.
