About Charnella
Grammar rarely feels like a chore when you apply it to actual songs. Often the best way to improve listening practice is by stepping away from rigid textbooks. We shift the focus toward rhythm, using the traditions of Vigneault or Leloup to ground our studies. My methodology incorporates active speaking exercises that feel like a casual chat over coffee.
You will see how pronunciation improves once you connect sounds to the cadence of Québécois folk. We build your confidence through consistent, manageable steps. These sessions provide a low-pressure space to experiment with new sounds. Come by for a session if you want to explore the language through a creative lens.

Growing up in a musical house meant that language and melody were always intertwined. My path led me to the Universite de Montreal for a BM in Popular Music.
French serves as my mother tongue, and I use that foundation to help others navigate complex verb conjugations. My students range from teens aiming for fluency to working professionals handling business French documents. Working through vocabulary building and pronunciation keeps things lively for us both. Sometimes I find myself humming a classic folk tune while grading assignments.
