About Michelle
Starting out involves playing a melody before you know the theory behind it. Strumming patterns and fingerpicking exercises often feel like learning a dance. Acoustic technique requires a gentle touch alongside clear focus. Electric technique brings a different energy to the room.
Music theory is woven into every blues progression we explore. Your hands will find their own natural way to move across the fretboard. We keep the mood light while working on your goals.
Expect to play songs you recognize very quickly. It usually just happens naturally.

Completing a BA in Music and Spanish at the University of Melbourne shaped my approach. Native speaker roots ground my perspective in authentic traditions.
My studio welcomes absolute beginners and performance-focused students seeking real growth. Flamenco and Argentine folk techniques form the core of my technical instruction. Providing guitar guidance feels like hosting a family dinner. Guitar playing remains a vibrant way to express oneself.
I enjoy seeing students connect with their instruments. Helping others find their rhythm is rewarding.
