About Susie
I simply love learning, and I try to pass on the love of learning and the thirst for knowledge to my students. The information, the outcomes, the connections between disciplines you make provide opportunities to explore and grow. I provide a positive, safe space that my students feel supported and nurtured. I don't berate children for incorrect answers. I lead them toward the solution and hopefully, a life-long love of learning.

I use mnemonics and song to make learning fun! Children recall information better and music motivates them to finish their lessons. Music makes boring subjects more palatable, makes learning enjoyable and increases reading levels. I am patient and really listen and observe the student so that I am able to teach them in their specific learning style. AIong with music, I use kinesthetic, spatial, visual and auditory learning styles. Sometimes a combination of styles helps the student.
