I keep my lessons focused on the joy of discovery while we tackle your specific goals as a grade exam candidate, returning learner, or performance student. My years of experience allow me to adapt to your pace without any unnecessary pressure.
We integrate cultural nuances into our technical work, ensuring you understand the history behind the strings. You might find that my relaxed, cross-cultural approach makes even the trickiest fingerpicking patterns feel manageable. I am happy to help you get started whenever you feel ready."

"Music connects people in ways words often fail to capture. I sometimes struggle to explain how deeply rooted my teaching is in the bolero, flamenco, and chacarera traditions I grew up with. Having taught 465 students over 13 years, I find my role as a Latin-Australian session musician allows me to bridge different worlds. My Diploma of Music from JMC Academy provides the technical foundation for everything we do.
I guide students through reading tabs, fingerpicking, songwriting, grade exam prep, tuning, maintenance, and rhythm guitar. Perhaps we can start our musical journey together soon."
