About William
Playing blues guitar is a rhythmic conversation that keeps my hands busy and my mind sharp. Do you ever wonder how music feels when your hands just know where to go?
I earned my BM at Berklee College of Music with a focus on guitar principal work. During my 8 years of experience, I have developed a deep patience for the instrument.
I often chat with students about how strings respond to touch. My own path involves many hours of practice in electric and acoustic technique. I help students handle tuning and maintenance so they can focus on music.
Rhythm guitar is the backbone of what I teach to everyone. You will find that I keep things playful and very hands-on.

Starting out means we skip the boring scales to find the songs that speak to you. It is a mistake to think you need theory before you touch a string.
I begin by running a diagnostic skills check to see where you stand. We look at strumming patterns and soloing side by side.
My 8 years of experience inform how I break down complex improvisation. You can expect us to blend your voice with your playing immediately. Sometimes we work on classics, but usually we stick to the music you love. Do you have a favorite track you want to play right now?
