Having had an international career in the USA, Europe, Australia, and Latin America, and an MA in vocal performance, I have acquired knowledge and experience that I can offer to aspiring singers.

Dubravka (Duba) is a great teacher and very diligent in her efforts to teach foundational vocal technique. I have started this process late in life (I am 70 years old) and have developed many bad habits while singing in a band. Duba is able to focus in on the adjustments I need to make to improve quickly. I get a lot of value out of my 1 hour weekly lesson. I have received several compliments from my band mates as well as strangers in church regarding my improving vocal abilities.

My goal of singing well was a dream that I hadn’t realized. Instead I concentrated on my profession as an engineer. I love singing but had not connected with a teacher who demanded correct singing technique and language skills. Duba was that teacher.

She was demanding, literate, and knew European classical music. I really appreciated the demands that she made on my voice tchnique and the classical songs we preformed. Her voice studio allowed me the opportunity to perform with a piano teacher in front of an audience. I really enjoyed those times. I count myself fortunate that I discovered her voice studio and that she accepted me as a student.

She really knows how to refine technique in classical singing. She is very passionate and helpful. Thanks Duba!

She uses an excellent bel canto style to her vocal teaching. Additionally, she really makes you understand foreign languages and helps you explore inflections that make all the difference. Excellent teacher and artist!

I learned a lot from Dubravka Zubovic. She helped me get into undergrate at Jacobs School of Music at Indiana University. I appreciated all the feedback she gave me and I used many of her strategies when I was in undergrad. I am grateful for her!

Dubravka is very thorough in her teaching, she does not miss anything. She'll point out any mistake and help you correct it on the spot, which is exactly what I was looking for in a teacher since my voice needed repair after puberty, but she is much more, she prepares her students for competitions and has years of both professional and teaching experience. Check out her singing and her students' singing! I have taken a few lessons from her and my voice has started to improve and sound much better with her direction. She is well worth your time, especially if you are looking to become a professional singer.

I really like how dedicated she is and how she goes all out and puts her heart into making her students the best that they can be. She will not let your mistakes just slide, like some teachers do, and will make sure you improve.
