About Michael
I am Head of Computing and an experienced examiner with well over 10 years teaching GCSE and A-level Computer Science.
For the past four years, the majority of my GCSE students have achieved grades 7–9, with many reaching 8 and 9. Last year, my A-level OCR Paper 2 students averaged 99.6 out of 140 — significantly above the typical average.
I specialise in helping ambitious students unlock their full potential. Whether your child is aiming for a 7–9 at GCSE or an A at A-level, I combine deep subject knowledge with proven exam technique to help them achieve results they can be proud of.
I teach both OCR and Edexcel at GCSE, with a sharp focus on exam skills and practical work. At A-level, I specialise in OCR, particularly algorithms, Big O notation, and the extended questions that often separate good students from the very best.
I currently offer private online tuition for GCSE and A-level Computer Science students who are serious about improving their grades. Lessons are structured, focused, and results-driven, with detailed feedback and resources provided after every session.

I adapt to each student's needs — whether they want to focus on practical programming, theory, or exam preparation. All lessons are delivered via Zoom with flexible scheduling.
